Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay who is producer and director of the drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching television and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was featured in many commercials as a young child. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two shows in the early years: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto for her acting to improve, before moving after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors training. Following their engagement in 2008, they married in 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism, they renewed their wedding vows at an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May 2016. Silk has played a range of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 for her performance. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to viewers on the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the set of the show. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most watched TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its popularity on social media has grown to a huge online fan base.
